Job description

Position : Plasterer / Multitrade

Location : Islington, London

Salary : £20 - £24 Umbrella

Contract Type : Full-Time, Permanent

Sector : Social Housing Maintenance

The Role :

  • Undertake plasterer and various multitrade repairs and installations on both void and occupied properties.
  • Apply plaster and other trowelled materials to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and durable finish.
  • Carry out responsive and planned repairs as required.
  • Protect structures and surfaces near work areas to prevent damage or debris.
  • Liaise with tenants and team members to deliver a professional service in occupied homes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Complete work within specified time frames while maintaining high standards.

The Candidate :

  • Have proven experience in plastering, ideally in social housing or similar environments.
  • Plasterer / Multitrade experience is essential - Plumbing, Carpentey, Electrical, Tiling, Painting etc
  • Be confident working in both void and occupied properties.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills, especially when interacting with tenants.
  • Have strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Be able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Hold a CSCS card (desirable).
  • A full UK driving license is advantageous but not essential.
