Role : Locum Invasive Cardiac Physiologist (EP Physiologist)

Banding : Band 7 / 8

Location : Cardiff

Hours : Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays

Start Date : 02 / 09 / 2024

Rate : 50 65 per day

Duration : 3 months

About the role :

The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced EP Physiologist (Invasive Cardiac Physiologist) to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. This is a temporary position with a competitive hourly rate offering an excellent opportunity to work in a leading healthcare environment.

Duties and Responsibilities :

You will perform invasive cardiac procedures including angiograms pacemaker insertions and electrophysiology studies. You will monitor and assess patients cardiac function during procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide highquality patient care. You will maintain accurate and detailed patient records. You will ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Essential :

IBHRE / BHRS accreditation (desirable).

  • Relevant qualifications and registration as a Cardiac Physiologist.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in invasive cardiac physiology.
  • Proven experience as an EP Physiologist with expertise in invasive cardiac procedures.
  • Desirable :

    • Experience in invasive cardiac procedures.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
