About the role

In this role, you’ll oversee digital and content communications, ensuring our messaging reaches and inspires key audiences. You’ll lead on PR and media relations, securing national and local coverage to enhance Shaftesbury’s reputation in the disability sector. Working closely with teams across the organisation, you’ll shape and deliver strategic campaigns, develop compelling content, and manage a small team to ensure high-quality, engaging communications drive awareness and support.

We’re looking for someone with strong experience in communications, content creation, and digital engagement. You should have a talent for storytelling, an understanding of PR and media, and a strategic mindset to align communications with organisational goals. Experience in managing brand consistency, leading teams, and delivering high-impact campaigns will be key to success in this role.

Hybrid working, will be required to travel into London and to service as and when appropriate.
