Their project portfolio features a wide range of contracts, from small-scale installations to large, multi-million-pound developments.As they continue to expand, they are seeking a skilled M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Blackburn. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-value projects and contribute to the success of a dynamic and forward-thinking company.Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for M&E projects.
  • Conduct risk, value management, and cost control activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage contracts, including financial administration, subcontractor agreements, and supplier negotiations.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and financial reporting on project progress.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure cost efficiency and adherence to client requirements.
  • Support post-tender activities, including contract negotiation and value engineering.Skills & Experience Required
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an M&E Quantity Surveyor role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and associated costs.
  • Experience managing contracts, including NEC and JCT forms of agreement.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
