Site Engineer (HS2)

Our client, operating within the HTP sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Site Engineer to join the team for a permanent position in Brackley. This role is part of the prestigious HS2 project, focused on delivering civil engineering works along the new high-speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.Key Responsibilities : Liaising with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, and materialsWorking with the setting-out team and overseeing junior engineersIdentifying and resolving technical problems on site in collaboration with senior team members and the Sub-AgentMonitoring and coordinating subcontractors to ensure works are completed to contractual requirementsEnsuring all team members have current information and resources requiredAssisting in the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plansContributing to financial forecastingJob Requirements : HNC / Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering, or equivalentExperience in Earthworks / Civils (essential)Knowledge and practical application of site engineering activitiesConstruction supervision skillsCSCS card (white card minimum, no green cards)Full driving licenceBenefits : Competitive salary and relocation package (£30,000 - £35,000 + relocation up to £22,000 pr / annum)Opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure projectProfessional development opportunitiesCollaborative and forward-thinking work cultureIf you have experience in Earthworks and a passion for site engineering, we would love to hear from you.
