Systems Engineer

Job Description

An expanding Defence client of ours is currently in the market for a Systems Engineer to support a variety of UK-based customers with the next generation of Voice Communication solutions within the Defence and national Security domain.

Your Main Responsibilities

• System build, Integration, and Commissioning of On-Premise based solutions to our Defence customers.
• System configuration per customer requirements.
• Collaboration on design, implementation and delivery with a wide range of internal and external stake holders.
• Communicating with customers about technical issues
• System / Software troubleshooting and fault diagnosis / resolution – working with development teams to identify and resolve system issues.
• Inspecting and accepting products from sub suppliers and partners prior to implementation.
• Close coordination of tasks with local and international teams.
• Creating work instructions / work plans for use by projects
• Assisting with technical responses when there is a bid in progress.
• Assisting with technical training and user configuration training, sharing knowledge of the solution with the customer enabling them to fulfil the potential of the solution.
