The opportunity

Delaware North UK is hiring a full-time Business Account Manager to join our team at the London Stadium in Stratford, East London. In this role, you will manage sales and coordinate meetings and events at the stadium, from initial contact to event execution. What will you do?

  • Manage sales and inquiries for internal and non-matchday events, including telephone sales and updating the booking system
  • Conduct venue show-rounds, ensuring areas are set correctly and guiding clients to maximize sales and ensure successful events
  • Accurately detail event information to maximize sales opportunities and revenue, upselling food, beverages, and other items to exceed sales targets while providing excellent guest experiences
  • Assist in preparing detailed event schedules and function sheets, and participate in weekly team meetings to discuss operational needs
  • Produce accurate contracts and pre-payment invoices in a timely manner

    • More about you

  • 1-3 years’ experience, preferably in sales and event coordination; no degree required
  • Skills in IT literacy, teamwork, attention to detail, guest and client focus, and excellent communication skills
