The successful candidate will hold case responsibility for care experienced children and young people up to the age of 16.
The post of Social Worker in the Child Looked after Team, Childrens Services completes a number of functionsand statutory duties, to include; child protection and safeguarding in line with the Children Act (1989) and the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) 2014 Act.
The social worker will co-produce proportionate assessments and Care and Support Plans with families and partner agencies, produce court reports and ensure that children looked after experience permanence which supports them to achieve personal outcomes and make a successfully transition to adulthood. The social worker will hold a case load supporting Children Looked after, children whose names are on the Child Protection.
