Head Chef Position
We are currently working with a very high profile international client who is a leading facilities management provider in the UK. They require an experienced Head Chef for their contract catering operation in Dishforth, North Yorkshire. This is a permanent position with a starting salary of £30,000.
You will be managing a chef brigade but be expected to work independently as and when required. It is crucial that you are comfortable with stock ordering and stocktaking, menu planning and rota management, and understanding all relevant health & safety food hygiene requirements. With this in mind, you must have a Food Hygiene Certificate minimum level 2.
You will be contracted to a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week mainly Monday to Friday with some weekend work as required. Hours of work will be between 6am and 8pm.
