Service Engineer - (Field Based)

Our client based in Ross-shire is a leader within the manufacturing and energy sector.

Currently looking for a proactive and skilled Service Engineer to join their team, delivering energy solutions to their clients across Scotland. In this field-based role, you'll play a key part in supporting and maintaining industrial biomass steam boiler systems, ensuring they operate at peak performance, efficiency, and reliability.

This is a mobile role requiring regular travel to client sitesprimarily in the Scottish Highlands and Islandswith overnight stays as needed. Youll be part of a collaborative team that values flexibility, initiative, and delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct planned preventative and corrective maintenance on biomass boiler systems
• Respond swiftly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime
• Perform routine servicing, inspections, and fault diagnostics on mechanical and electrical plant, equipment, and instrumentation
• Manage stock and parts inventory for maintenance activities
• Accurately record maintenance tasks and schedules using the companys CMMS
• Complete clear and concise site visit reports
