Job description

Role : Waste Collection Operative

Pay : £11.44 per hour

Location : Pontypool

Hours : 37 hours per week

Monday - Thursday : 07 : 00 - 15 : 00, Friday, 07 : 00 - 14 : 30

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a temporary waste collection operative for a client based in Pontypool immediate start.

The Role :

To Carry out Waste collection services
To liaise with the Waste Awareness Officer / Enforcement Officer where there are areas of non-compliance.
Work in a safe manner, with safe working practices. Ensure that all protective clothing is worn.
Work within the Health and Safety Policy
Ensure all spillages are removed.
Report additional bins, excessive extra plastic sacks, and contaminated bins.

Requirements :

Relevant experience in a similar role

A good understanding of Health and Safety issues

Good communication skills

It is desirable for the post holder has a clean and current driving licence.

The ability to work as part of a team.
