Airfield Electrician

Rolepurpose

To undertake Rescue and Firefighting work and generalairfield duties.

Principal Accountabilities / Main Responsibilities :

• Attend all aircraft emergencies or incidents that occur across the aerodrome.
• Provide Firefightingassistance to save life at an aircraft accident as required.
• Undertakerescue and firefighting duties in line with Aerodrome regulation UK Reg (EU)139 / 2014 standards and senior Fire service management.
• Adherenceto Civilian Aviation publication CAP 699 Standards for Competency of Rescue andFirefighting Service personnel throughout your career.
• Provide first aid assistance.
• Carry out vehicle and equipment checks to maintain an immediate response of the Airport Fire service throughout the 24-hour operation.
• Comply with all legal and statutory obligations applicable to this role.
• Undertake other general airfield duties, bird control and surface inspection duties as required.
• Airfield pavement marking as required.
• Undertake any other duties required by LBA during the hours of operation.
