PROSPERO TEACHING- TEACHING ASSISTANTS NEEDED IN ABERGAVENNY!

As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero we are looking for a dedicated, caring and reliable Teaching Assistant. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with additional needs is preferred for this position. (If you do not have any previous experience but are looking to become a teaching assistant please get in touch as we can discuss alternative positions!) Training will be provided; however candidates must be proactive and attentive within this role and able to take initiative.

CONTRACT DETAILS

  • Location – Abergavenny
  • Position – Teaching Assistant (Supporting Additional Learning Needs students)
  • Type of work – Teaching Assistant
  • Contract or position start date – ASAP
  • Contract type (temp / perm / temp to perm) – Temporary
  • Full time / part time – part time- full time
  • Rate of pay – (18-20) – GBP93 (21+)
  • Hours – 8 : 30 am – 3 : 30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education Workforce Council (EWC) Membership
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can assist)

    • TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST :

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
