All is taking shape now at their flagship site in Harlow and they have needs to add Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineers due to forthcoming retirees and growth.Supplying this product to a number of high profile businesses across the country, this business can boast an impressive order book that has resulted in heavy re-investment into the sites. Just this year they are implementing a brand new CMMS system as they seek to improve the reliability of their machines. This position is a fantastic role to join a growing family run business that invests into their people and machinery.The Role : The Role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities : Reactive and Planned Maintenance to be completed on all of the highly automated state of the art production machineryIf Electrical Bias you will be working with : Three Phase Motors, Sensors, Photocells, Switches, Relays, Contactors, InvertorsFault Finding on PLCs , Reading inputs and outputs as well as logging on with a laptop and fault finding through code (Training given for this!)If Mechanical Bias you will be working with : Bearings, Gearboxes, Shafts, Rollers, Belts, Pulleys, Chains, Hydraulics, PneumaticsRefurbishing components in the workshop and completing welding as and when requiredWorking an on call rota 1 in every 4 weeksThe CandidateThe Right candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will have / beA recognised Engineering qualificationExperience working on production machinery in an electrical or mechanical capacityConfident Fault Finding skills, able to rectify and get to the root cause of issues effectively and implementing a correct fix first timeExperience with creating improvements to machinesBe able to work well within a team or independentlyThe Benefits : Benefits included for successful applicants of the position of Maintenance Engineer will be : 10% Pension contributions from the companyStandby retainer for call outPLC Training, supporting you develop your technical skills and enhancing your career opportunitiesHolidays are 24 +8 days holidayFantastic Job Security, working for a business over 100 years old that has invested millions in recent years, securing the future for generations to comeWorking for a Family Run Business that values people and work life balanceATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
