Vehicle Diagnostics Technician Required in Southampton, Hampshire

Basic Salary Circa £34,000.
Monday – Friday 08 : 30 – 17 : 00
Saturdays available at overtime.

Our client a BMW & Mini independent Specialist with 20 years trading are currently seeking a Vehicle Technician for their highly reputable workshop based in Southampton, Hampshire.

They are seeking like-minded vehicle technicians to join them on their journey as they grow their business. They have built a loyal customer base working on BMWs and Mini’s within the Southampton area.

Our client is passionate about being a good employer. They want to assist with your personal development with a collaborative discussion about training, whether you are looking to gain a MOT Testing licence or undertake a course in Hybrid and Electrics, our client wants to be part of your development as you will be part of their business developing.

We are ideally seeking applicants with strong experience within fault finding and diagnostics, preferably with experience using BMW ISTA diagnostics systems.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client

Carrying out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance

Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults efficiently and accurately

Conducting vehicle inspections and test drives to assess performance.

Carrying out complex vehicle repairs as required

Using Autologic & ISTA diagnostic equipment and tools effectively

Completing service records and documentation accurately

Adhering to health and safety guidelines and company procedures

Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image

What our client expects of their Vehicle Diagnostics Technicians

Minimum qualification of City and Guilds AVCE, NVQ level 3 or experience in similar role

Full UK Driving Licence

You Must have your own toolkit sufficient to enough to carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and technologies

Ability to work efficiently and independently.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Full UK driving license.
