7.5 TONNE DRIVERMONDAY - FRIDAY : VARIOUS START TIMES45 HOURS PER WEEK£13.46 PER HOURPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in the Tamworth area.BenefitsAs a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will receive the following benefits : Excellent hourly ratesOngoing workWeekly paySite canteenTraining providedImmediate startsEmployee Well-being ProgrammeOpportunity to go permanentRates of PayBasic : £13.46 per hourDay to Day DutiesYour duties as a 7.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to : Multi drop deliveries of up to between 17 and 23 drops per day.Deliveries are made using pump truck and sack barrel, all stock is palletised (multiple customers on one pallet)Drivers are required to break down the pallets and deliver inside customer premises. Not doorstep deliveries.Ensure that the Company vehicle allocated is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition, documenting appropriate checks and reporting any faults immediately.Ensure duties are carried out within legal requirements.Ensure all scheduled deliveries and collections are completed on time, in full on a daily basis.Deliver to customers as directed and assist with unloading and taking to final delivery point as requested. Report any problems with delivery sites.Ensure that all POD paperwork is correct and signed for either on paper or electronically using Microlise device.Present a professional image to the customer, be pleasant and comply with company dress requirements.As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will need to have : Valid UK Category C1 Driving LicenceValid Digital Tachograph CardValid Driver CPCSatisfactory driving recordMaximum of six penalty points on your LicenceKnowledge of East Midlands area preferredMust be able to speak and read a good level of EnglishPunctuality and excellent time keeping skillsHave a good understanding of traffic laws and regulationsEffective communication skillsDesirable ExperienceExperience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficialPrevious experience with multi drop deliveries will be beneficialTrainingDriver's Assessment must be completed prior to startingIndustry related training and ongoing support throughoutApplyIf you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more
