About the Role :

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) at Partridge of Hampshire, you will play a crucial role in our repair process. You will assess BMW / MINI brand vehicles, using Audatex to calculate the costing and time required to complete all repairs accurately, professionally, and to the highest manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough assessments of damaged vehicles and provide accurate repair estimates.
  • Utilise your technical expertise to identify the correct repair methods, as well as the cost and time scale, to produce comprehensive repair plans.
  • Liaise with insurance companies, customers, and internal teams to ensure all repair work and costs are authorised and issues are resolved quickly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build and maintain positive relationships with customers and insurance companies.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of damage assessments, estimates, and repair progress.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area and ensure that health and safety regulations and procedures are adhered to.

About You :

You will have proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, or a similar role in the automotive repair industry. You will be proficient and confident in using relevant software, such as Audatex, for estimating and assessment purposes, as well as a strong understanding of vehicle repair techniques.

Key Qualifications and Skills :

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage your time and resources effectively and efficiently.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and thorough repair assessments and estimates.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible in your approach.
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers.
