Teaching Assistant

Axcis Education require a Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in Walthamstow, Waltham Forest.

Location : Walthamstow, Waltham Forest

Start Date : March 2025

Duration : Ongoing

Pay Rate : £85- £90 per day (PAYE)

Working Hours : 8 : 15 A.M. to 3 : 45 P.M., Monday to Friday

Your New Role :

This highly-regarded primary school also includes a SEND provision. It is well located, close to local transport links and it has modern facilities, including sensory rooms. The successful candidate for this role will provide an autistic student with one-to-one support. The child is pre-verbal and will be studying a bespoke curriculum designed to improve their communication skills. Therefore, previous experience of using sign and / or picture-based communication in a classroom setting is a distinct advantage. The pupil will also require support with toileting, so the successful candidate must be happy to provide personal care.
