About this Signage Production Managers job

As a Signage Production Manager, you will oversee the Production and Installation functions of this £5M+ turnover business. The role's primary focus is ensuring high standards and quality across all production and installation activities.

You will lead and manage a team of 14 direct reports, consisting of 10 on-site production staff and 4 installers. Responsibilities include conducting weekly production meetings and contributing to monthly management meetings.

This Signage Production Manager job responsibilities will include :

• Lead and manage the production process, ensuring all work is manufactured, delivered, and installed to the highest standards.
• Develop production planning schedules, quality control processes, and installation schedules.
• Train and develop all production team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills to maintain high work standards.
• Establish clear job specifications and measurable personal objectives, along with individual training plans.
• Maintain strong communication with customers throughout production and installation processes.
• Work cross-functionally with internal departments to communicate production schedules, status updates, and lead times.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, both in production and on installation sites, including risk assessments and method statements.
• Continuously research and propose new methods, machinery, and investment opportunities to improve quality and efficiency while maintaining carbon-neutral commitments.
