Registered Manager

A Registered Care Home Manager is required for The Dell Care Home in Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR33 9PL.

• You will ensure Residents are at the heart of the care delivery and, their wishes and preferences enhance their well-being.
• Contribute to the efficient and effective day-to-day management of the human resources involved in providing care through the staff team and ensuring that the required standards are maintained.
• Ensure all recording systems and, organisational documentation are of a high standard and kept up to date.
• Be responsible for all staff receiving formal supervision and appraisals.
• Oversee the duty rota monthly in advance ensuring the correct skills and numbers on duty.
• Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the individuals you support.
• A thorough understanding of CQC standards – has achieved outstanding and, good CQC reports throughout, the period of being a Registered Manager.Qualifications
• Experienced Care Home Manager within the Elderly care sector, dementia care
• NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 5 or have this already.
• Knowledge of Dementia care.
• Good knowledge of legislation
• Good IT skills in MS Word, Excel, and, Power point.
• Has some experience in Atlas and, Person-Centred or similar
• Has the ability to run a 40 bedded service
• Has the ability to support a staff team of 60
