The Role :

Join our Finance & Operations team as a Procurement Manager, focusing on Managed Laboratory Services (MLS). In this role :

  • You'll collaborate with other procurement experts, bringing new perspectives and insights to shape the MLS procurement category and its respective Category Plan(s).
  • You will oversee services and diagnostic solutions from third-party suppliers, demanding strong commercial acumen and experience in strategic procurement.
  • This role offers diverse responsibilities, from driving improvements to influencing change, developing procurement strategies, and enhancing the total cost ownership , service, and quality for MLS categories.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to continuously elevate third-party supplier performance.

Key Focus Areas :

  • Develops and implements the “source to contract” process for specific categories, including resolving any contract issues.
  • Manage third-party relationships within the MLS framework.
  • Identify new products and services to enrich the end-user experience.
  • Ensure robust contracts with relevant SLAs and KPIs, working alongside our Commercial and Sales Managers during the MLS Sales tender process.
  • Deliver accurate spend and market analysis, including forecasts on cost variations and market shifts.
  • Address commercial and contractual risks proactively.
  • Continuously evaluate internal and external processes for optimization opportunities.

  • Demonstrated excellence in contract negotiation and high commercial awareness.
  • Proven experience in driving change and previous involvement in a global or regional procurement function.
  • Qualifications :

  • University degree is preferred but not mandatory (preferably in Procurement and Supply Chain Management)
  • Pursuing or possession of MCIPS is desirable.
  • English proficiency is essential; additional languages are a bonus.
