Group Electrical Engineer

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a permanent and varied role? Have you ever worked with textile machinery before? Do you have PLC experience?We’re partnering with a long-standing client to find an experienced Group Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work across a handful of sites around North Manchester.You’ll have previously worked in a manufacturing environment, in particular with machinery and robotics. You’ll also have experience with programming and fault finding on PLC’s.It would be fantastic if you had previously worked within textiles and worked with ATEX – if you have worked with CompEx that would be even better!What You Get

• You’ll have your own transport and be committed to working across various sites around North Manchester
• A sound knowledge of A.C / D.C drives is essential
• You'll need your 18th Edition regs
• You should have at least 4 years in a similar role
• City & Guilds 2391 (test and Inspection) is preferred
• IPAF
• PLC experience (Siemens ideally)
• Mechanical experience would be helpful
• CompEx and Atex / hazardous area experience would highly desirable
