Key Responsibilities :
Cash Management (AFP's)
- Timely submission of AFP's
- Assessment of AFP sufficiency through comparison with the theoretically modelled AFP
- Production of exception reports to explain variances
- Analysis of exception reports to identify themes for improvement and minimise variances
Contract Governance and Discipline
Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycleProviding estimate and cost planning, including producing and presenting the final cost planReconciling changes to ensure data accuracyDriving engineering priorities based on cost impactManaging cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects with timely, accurate processesAssessment of change Work Orders and variations in line with the Contract of AgreementManaging cost impact, contingency management, and commitment tracking logPerforming quantity surveying, cost controls, and change management activities throughout the project lifecycleEnsuring effective management of post-contract cost variances and change control processesManaging cost auditing and valuation work with a robust validation processMonitoring weekly progressEvaluating planned costs compared to the original approved contract scope of work and identifying differencesGenerating progress measurement and accounting reportsReviewing and assessing high-risk scope of works for value engineering opportunitiesMonitoring weekly man-hours spent against budgeted hoursMonitoring projects for budget adherence, demand forecasts, and time over-runsKPI Performance Monitoring
