Music Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a Music Technician to join the team on a term time only basis. In return, you will receive a salary of £23,764 per annum pro rata.

About The Role

As the Music Technician , you undertake the responsibility of maintaining the spaces and resources in the Music Department and a range of technical duties in support of the academic function. A range of duties are outlined below. Full job description available. We are looking for a person who has technical experience in a music studio set-up and enjoys working alongside students and lecturers.

As Our Music Technician, Your Main Tasks Will Include

• Maintaining all the music spaces and technical resources
• Maintaining a rehearsal booking system
• Preparing and setting up equipment and resources for lessons and performances
• Supporting lecturers and students with computer-based music technology systems such as Logic Pro X and Musescore
• Leading live event setups (Sound, light and stage rigging)
