We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Assistant to join our team at an esteemed mainstream secondary school in Camden. As a Pastoral Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in promoting student well-being and ensuring a positive and inclusive school environment.
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the pastoral team, focusing on a specific Key Stage, to provide support to students.
- Assist in the implementation of a coordinated behaviour management system, linking interventions with appropriate pastoral support and resolution opportunities.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Seclusion and Reflection Centre.
- Support the daily behaviour referral system and mentor students referred to the SRC.
- Facilitate pastoral actions to promote behaviour change and maintain open communication with parents / guardians.
- Provide behaviour change interventions for specific student cohorts, fostering positive change and resilience.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of daily expectations and standards, with a focus on a particular year group initially.
Requirements :
