Electrical Engineer / Inspector

Electrical Engineer / Inspector£47-50 per hour (outside IR35) + min 6mth rolling contract + average 45hr week Mon-Fri + overtime rates + immediate start dateElectrical Engineer / Inspector responsibilities include :

• Site-based, carrying out detailed Electrical installations / equipment checks & inspections and delivering inspection reports.
• Risk assessment of fixed electrical installations.
• Drawings, tracing, labelling and schedules of electrical installations.
• Emergency lighting inspection and test to BS 5266 standard.
• Electrical load analysis; Public entertainment licensing testing.
• Lightning protection systems inspection and testing.
• Electrical safety assessments for plant and machinery.
• Act as expert Advisor providing technical and legislative advice where necessary.Electrical Engineer / Inspector profile;
• HND / Degree in Electrical discipline
• Ideally chartered status Electrical Engineer
• C&G 2391 / 92 Inspection and Testing certificate
• 18th Edition regs
• COMPEX certs 01-04 desirable.
• Minimum 10yrs relevant Electrical industry experience, ideally 5 of which have involved testing and inspecting electrical installations / ATEX inspections
• Recent experience working on large-scale construction sites including Nuclear, Waste-Energy, Renewables, Data centres, heavy industry, Civils etc
• Current UK driving license.
