Job description

Due to expansion, a well established and leading supplier of hospitality and event management services are looking to appoint a Transport Operative (Event Trailers) to join their friendly team based on the outskirts of Stratford upon Avon.This company provides premium brand clients with a complete turn-key service, providing a diverse range of events.They are a small, friendly team that cares, listens and values individual efforts where all can succeed.(This role can either be offered as a sub-contract or permanent role).It is essential that the successful Transport Operative will have a CPC (HGV1 or 2 would be a bonus)Some benefits for permanent staff include : -

  • Organisation of yard areas – storage of trailers and pods
  • Preparing trailers and pods for events
  • Transport maintenance, vehicle checks and logs
  • Undertaking refurb / maintenance of all trailers
  • Cleaning and preparation for future projects
  • Assisting with the preparations / loading of exhibition trailers
  • Responsible for trailer graphics, stocktake / cleaning / loading and unloading
  • Maintenance / cleaning
  • Preparation for future projects
  • Loading and unloading
  • Set up and take down at events
  • Building rapport with customers
  • Site housekeepingThe Transport Operative will also have : -
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A forklift licence, and general welding skills would be beneficialFull eligibility to live and work in the UK is required.Requirement to conform with, and adhere to, the Quality Management System
