They have offices in and around London, with a large proportion of their workload inside the M25.About the opportunity : Reporting to the Group HR Manager, as the Training and Development (T&D) Manager, you will design, implement, and oversee training programs to ensure the growth and competency of the company’s workforce. Your role will support the Group’s commitment to excellence, sustainability, safety, and social responsibility within the construction industry. You will focus on enhancing employee skills while aligning training initiatives with the company’s values. Additionally, you will support the professional development of employees seeking membership in institutions like RICS, CIOB, and ICE, and assist in early career development initiatives, helping employees achieve industry recognition and career advancement.About the requirements : Due to the specialist nature of works, my client is requiring a professional who has worked as a Training and Development Manager whilst employed by a construction company in the UK. It is imperative you have a good understanding of training requirements within the construction industry (such as CSCS, CPCS and CCDO) and of apprenticeship schemes levy and training grants. Lastly, you must have experience in client liaison to fulfil Section 106 requirements for recruitment and local engagement and due to the size of the team, it is essential you have experience of managing more junior members of staff.Please note, as this is an office based opportunity, no hybrid working is available and therefore you must reside within commutable distance from their office in London Bridge.About the benefits and rewards : For this permanent opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere from £55,000 - £65,000 per annum however there may be flexibility on this as the specific salary will depend on experience and suitability.
