We have vacancies for band 5 rotational physiotherapists across the beautiful county of Gloucestershire.
Our unique rotational programme, covers the core strands of musculoskeletal services, in-patients, community, neurological and paediatric physiotherapy. It will include opportunity to work in teams specialising in inpatient care, neurological rehab and long term conditions. The post holder will gain a balance of clinic, community and hospital-based caseloads. You will be required to work on a 6-month rotating basis. Preference sheets are sent out annually to help tailor your rotations to your chosen career path.
You will work as part of a wider integrated team and will receive regular appraisal, training and clinical supervision as part of the preceptorship programme. This post would suit a new Graduate or those looking to seek an exciting challenge in Gloucestershire.
Main duties of the job
A physiotherapist participates as a member of the Physiotherapy Team managing a clinical caseload with the support and guidance of Senior Physiotherapists. The post holder will have no budgetary responsibility but may be expected to supervise physiotherapy assistants on a day to day basis.
This role offers physiotherapy assessments and interventions to Service Users in a rotation programme through various clinical specialities, including Musculoskeletal outpatients, stroke, neurology, medical services, rehabilitation and paediatrics, which are designed to consolidate their undergraduate clinical education and develop their independent clinical practice.

We provide a Multi-professional preceptorship programme that is aligned to the National Preceptorship Framework for Nursing and have been awarded the Interim quality mark from NHS England. Our programme is provided to all Newly Qualified; Nurses, Nursing Associates, Internationally Educated Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals and Return to Practice Practitioners. In addition to the programme we also offer all preceptees the opportunity of enrolling and completing the level 7 (Masters) 15 credit validated module Preceptorship for Healthcare (AP7026).
Newly qualified Social Workers are offered the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment programme (ASYE) which is similar to a preceptorship programme.
