The hospital is the largest modern private healthcare provider in the South West and this is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their friendly and experienced surgical team. The role involves working across a variety of patients from general surgery to highly complex cases and is a great opportunity to expand upon your skills. The surgical team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Registered Nurse to join the team. hospital boasts 5 well equipped modern operating theatres and an Intensive Care Unit.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be working as a Registered Nurse on the surgical ward and will be responsible for the following duties;

• Providing post-surgical care to patients
• Working on a large and busy ward across a varied caseload of patients
• Providing care to the patient throughout their hospital stay from admittance to release
• Working on a ratio of 1 nurse to 5 / 6 patients ensuring time to give high quality care to patients
• Take part in clinical training
