Job description

The Role & Key Responsibilities

Role: Customer Support Co-Ordinator (Dairy Division)

Location : Cambridgeshire, UK (Hybrid)

Contract & Shift details: Permanent, Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00

This is a fast-paced role, and no day will be the same, you will be coordinating our KW Animal Feed orders proactively and working closely with the customer service sites, hauliers and internal departments such as product specialists, sales, and trading.

Due to the nature of this business area and working with raw materials, you will need to be quite process oriented with the ability to collaborate well with other teams with an understanding of our pricing and contract agreements (full training provided).

What you will be doing : (not limited to)

  • Providing customer service to customers within the feed ingredients business KW, Trident and AMUR.
  • You will work closely as a customer service team to provide both external and internal customers with high class customer service.
  • You will work closely with our sales teams, product managers, category managers supporting them with their administration requirements.
  • You will also have both product and customer responsibility working as part of a team to ensure the administration of customer transactions from point of sale to delivery meet expectations, meeting lead-times of both customer and supplier and adhering to trading controls at all times.

What you will bring:

  • The ability to build a good rapport is essential.
  • Practical customer service experience with a positive approach and the ability to empathise and understand our customer’s needs.
  • Good commercial awareness with great attention to detail.
  • Able to communicate at all levels both internally and externally, with the ability to build effective relationships with other specialist teams in the business.
  • Good organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Computer literate with excel word and outlook.
  • Previous experience working within logistics, animal feed or agriculture would be beneficial but by no means essential.
  • A genuine desire to learn and a positive attitude.

Additional Information:

  • This is a hybrid role. After completing your training, you will work from home four days a week and spend one day in the Peterborough office.
  • Training will last between two and three weeks, during which you will need to be onsite in Peterborough five days a week.
