Support our Quality Team by driving Health & Safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, COMAH, and REACH. Work alongside the Security Manager to strengthen our EHS culture and help shape the future of aviation.

Tasks

The key responsibilities and duties of the EHS Advisor include, but are not limited to :

Collaborate with all departments to ensure ongoing EHS compliance
Lead risk assessments, COSHH reviews, and accident investigations
Support ISO 14001 & 45001 audits to maintain group certification
Develop and implement EHS policies in line with UK law and LHT standards
Drive H&S targets, training, and cross-functional safety initiatives
Manage REACH compliance and hazardous substance assessments
Oversee PPE standards and ensure proper EHS testing protocols
Partner with HR on occupational health and first aid coordination
Contribute to quality system updates and deputise for the Security Manager
Represent the business within the wider Lufthansa Technik EHS community

Requirements

The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements :

Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or similar field—or equivalent experience

NEBOSH or IOSH qualification preferred

Auditing experience with ISO 14001 or 45001 is a plus

Background in EHS, ideally within aviation or a regulated industry

Skilled in risk assessments, audits, and MSDS reviews

Strong team player with excellent communication and coordination skills

Confident using Microsoft Office and reporting tools

Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused with a continuous improvement mindset

Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing change

Working conditions :

Based in Hayes with potential for hybrid work post-training

Full-time role with occasional travel as required
