As a Nurse your key responsibilities include :
Assessing patients' health and care needs and developing care plansAdministering medication and monitoring services users responseProviding nursing care, including wound care and palliative careLiaising with other healthcare professionals to coordinate personalised careSupporting service users with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toiletingProviding emotional support to service users and their familiesMaintaining accurate and up-to-date recordsWorking within the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines to ensure high standards of careContributing to the development and implementation of policies and proceduresParticipating in the induction and ongoing training of new staff membersThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role :
The ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvementsAble to communicate effectively and to develop professional relationshipsUnderstands and effectively uses IT and communication systems required for the roleRespectful of the values, views and needs of othersAble to work under pressure and prioritise workloadExperience of delivering nursing care within a mental health care settingExperience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmesThe successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £20.60 per hour and the annual salary is up to £47,132.80 per annum.
