This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a skilled team for a company who prides themselves on exceptional high quality work throughout the UK.The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for : Project delivery for mechanical installation for housing developments, care homes and commercial buildings throughout the UKLeading the mechanical package for new build projects from the pre-construction phase through to completionManaging the full life cycle of mechanical works on multiple new build sitesManaging all aspects of onsite activitiesCoordinating with consultants and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budgetHigh standards of workmanship, safety, regulatory compliance, quality and design specificationsLeading subcontractors and internal delivery teamsCreating project documentation including RAMS, O&M manuals and progress reportsRegular site meetings and technical reviewsThe ideal Mechanical Project Manager candidate will have : A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing mechanical services on new build construction projectsA minimum of a NVQ L2 in plumbing and heating and the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issuesManagement Safety training (SMSTS / SSSTS)A CSCS card at a manager or supervisor levelExperience in delivering projects for national house builders or care home operatorsStrong understanding of mechanical design principles, installation methods and technical drawingsIn depth technical knowledge of heating, ventilation, hot & cold water and renewable technologies such as heat pumps and underfloor heatingCommercial experience and knowledge of JCT and D&B contractsA Full and clean UK driving licenceExcellent organisational and leadership skillsBenefits : Company vehicleLaptop & PhonePension SchemePrivate and personal healthcareOngoing training and development
