Job Title : Functional Assessor (Physiotherapist)

Location : Northampton

Salary : £37,800 - £39,500 per annum

Job Type : Hybrid Permanent / Mon-Fri, 9-5 hours

We’re looking for a registered Physiotherapist who enjoys making a difference in people's lives every day. If you are looking for a break from shift work or are seeking a new exciting career opportunity to develop and enhance your Physio skills and still be able to utilise your Physiotherapist skills but differently helping people, apply and become a Functional Assessor. You will carry out assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily life and produce factual reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.

What we look for :

  • An HCPC-registered Physiotherapist with at least 1 year’s broad post-registration experience in the UK
  • A proactive and keen learner with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Someone comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
  • An expert clinician comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including complex cases and mental health conditions
