An exciting and growing Digital Marketing & Digital Technology Consultancy are looking to bring in a Digital Content Editor to join their talented team of creative & digital professionals, a great opportunity to join a fast-growing business with a global presence and to work with a leading technology client.

They are happy for someone to work remotely, kitting you out with all the latest tech equipment and also happy for someone to work in their London offices, or a combination of both - the choice is yours.

The Digital Content Editor plays a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of digital content across various online platforms. This individual is responsible for editing, proofreading, and optimizing content to ensure it meets editorial standards, resonates with the target audience, and aligns with the organization's goals and brand voice.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Content Creation : Produce compelling and creative digital content, including articles, blog posts, social media posts, videos, infographics, and other multimedia formats. Develop content ideas, conduct research, and gather information from subject matter experts to create informative and engaging content. Write, edit, and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, style consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Content Editing and Optimization : Edit and optimise digital content to enhance its quality, readability, search engine visibility, and user experience. Apply SEO best practices, including keyword research and placement, to maximize content discoverability and organic search rankings. Optimize content for readability, flow, and conversion.
  • Content Strategy Alignment : Collaborate with the content strategy team to align content creation efforts with the overall content strategy. Ensure that created content aligns with the target audience, brand objectives, and desired outcomes. Provide input and insights to enhance content ideation, development, and distribution plans
  • Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough quality checks on all digital content to ensure it is error-free, factually accurate, and complies with legal and ethical standards. Verify and cross-reference information, data, and sources. Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to validate technical and specialized content.
  • Content Performance Analysis : Monitor and analyse content performance metrics, such as engagement rates, conversion rates, and user feedback. Utilize analytics tools to gain insights into content effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Make data-driven recommendations for content optimization and strategy refinement.
  • Experience with Adobe Express and Bannerflow would be a great to have
