A leading professional services firm, renowned for its expertise in complex, high-value transaction is seeking a Senior Legal Management Consultant . This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of legal service delivery through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and process optimisation. Initially a 12-month FTC , this role offers the potential for longer-term opportunities.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Legal Management Consultant
- Manage end-to-end legal matters, ensuring streamlined delivery while identifying and implementing innovative approaches.
- Develop and maintain best-practice project management frameworks to enhance legal workflows.
- Partner with senior lawyers, clients, and external collaborators to scope projects, establish financial frameworks, allocate resources, and integrate suitable technologies.
- Lead project kick-offs, team briefings, and regular reviews to align workstreams with client expectations.
- Monitor budgets, optimise resource allocation, and drive efficiencies to maximise value.
- Assist with pitches and client presentations
- Deliver workshops and training sessions to embed Project Management principles across the firm and with clients.
Skills & Attributes of the Senior Management Consultant
Significant experience in Legal Project Management, client-facing Project Management, or Management Consultancy, ideally within a law firm, legal management consulting or in-house legal function.A recognised Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, PMP) is highly desirable.Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to challenge traditional ways of working and articulate the benefits of project management.A collaborative and proactive approach, with a problem-solving mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.Applications can only be considered from those eligible to live & work in the UK without restriction.
