Due to our continued growth, we are now seeking a Sales Ledger Administrator to join our friendly team in our newly built, spacious offices in Claydon, Suffolk.

We are looking for an individual who is friendly, displays an excellent telephone manner, hardworking and a real interest in giving excellent Customer Service.

Duties as part of the team will include :

  • Raising and sending of weekly and monthly sales invoices via portal upload and / or email
  • Maintenance of accurate client records, including timely requests for purchase orders to allow swift collection of payments
  • Contacting clients to chase payment of overdue debt by telephone and email, including the resolution of any resulting queries
  • Accurate reconciliation and allocation of daily client receipts to the sales ledger
  • Communication with IPRS Operations and Client Relationship Teams to ensure aged debt is minimised
  • Production and maintenance of detailed process flow documents
  • Participation in the team telephone rota, to include taking payment of excesses by credit card
  • Other general financial administrative duties as necessary to maintain the smooth-running of the department

Additional ad-hoc duties will include :

Sending statements to chase for settlement

providing patients with receipts for excess paid

raising the sales invoices and securing payment and assisting credit control

collection of excess by credit card

QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE :

GNVQ / NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent, or

4 GCSE / O level passes A-C or equivalent, including English and Maths; or

Experience of Sales Ledger would be desirable, however full training will be provided

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE :

Experience of using various Microsoft programmes and databases

Previous experience working within a finance / accounts team / sales ledger team desirable

SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills, in particular a friendly telephone manner

Attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately

Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and provide excellent customer service

Ability to prioritise and meet relevant Key Performance Indicators in a demanding environment

Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision in a proactive manner

Team worker who is flexible and has a positive attitude to learning and self-development

Hours40 hours per week Mon-Fri
