PROJECT MANAGER - GENERAL INSURANCE - CL CREDIT Introduction : Wipro is looking for a Project Manager – General Insurance – CL Credit with previous experience of working as a Project Manager in General Insurance space as an SME in CL Credit. This is a new role which will be at the heart of the growth agenda for the organisation. The role will have a primary focus on project management for CL Credit. As a Project Manager – General Insurance – CL Credit you will be a part of the Insurance Practice where we help insurance companies transform the way they do business through digital powered customer experience & analytics / cognition enabled business transformation. Our transformation consulting framework enables modernization & complete digitalization of insurance organization. Leading practices include - Sales & Distribution Transformation, POS Transformation, Underwriting Transformation, Claims Transformation. Purpose of the Role : As a Project Manager you will be responsible to manage and deliver projects for our client within their General Insurance portfolio primarily looking at CL Credit and FCA financials. Your Responsibilities : As the Project Manager – General Insurance – CL Credit you will be involved in : Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and allocation of resources Lead project teams, including internal and external partners, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals and objectives Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery Maintain clear and open communication channels with project partners, providing regular updates and reports Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and best practices Monitor project budgets and expenditures, making vital adjustments to stay within budget. Lead project scope and change requests, ensuring they align with project objectives Champion strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to improve collaboration and project success Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes Identify and resolve project issues and obstacles to keep projects on track Mandatory Skills / Experience : Previous experience of working in the UK General Insurance space Should be an SME in CL Credit with FCA financial background Experience of leading project related to either of the following : Corporate Pension fund migrations New product launches Infrastructure builds FCA financials Should have managed complex projects including budgets, team size, technologies, platforms, Strong understanding of insurance schemes, insurance processes, ways of working, value chain Ability to apply core Project Management disciplines - planning, issue / risk management, chasing down actions, reporting etc. Experience of having worked with strategic outsource providers would be beneficial Ability to use judgement and consider the application of change disciplines and standard governance framework Strong business engagement skills and the ability to bring people together to seek out mutually beneficial solutions, and approaches to issues or problem areas Excellent written and oral communication skill and the ability to manage stakeholder at all levels Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Kanban, Jira and confluence and the concept of a PM in an Agile environment Your Benefits : As the Project Manager – General Insurance – CL Credit you will receive a competitive salary, a generous benefits package and training & development in areas to help you improve.
