Field Service Engineer - Commercial Laundry & Catering Equipment37k to 42k DOE- Based on Experience & QualificationsCompany van, tools, uniform, and ongoing support providedElectrical, Mechanical, or Gas Safe Experience AdvantageousJoin One of the UK’s Leading Independent Service ProvidersWith over half a century of industry excellence, our client has become one of the most respected names in the commercial laundry and catering equipment sector.As their business continues to grow, they’re looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic service division.Role of the Field Service Engineer.As a key member of their frontline service team, you’ll represent their brand and deliver exceptional technical support to their valued customers. Your role will be varied and hands-on, covering a range of responsibilities including :

  • Responding to field service calls and diagnosing faults on laundry & catering equipment
  • Performing on-site repairs and preparing detailed reports of findings
  • Installing new or reconditioned equipment, including auto-dosing and ozone systems
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and commissioning of systems
  • Preparing ex-rental machines for redeployment
  • Managing van stock and updating inventory via Salesforce (CRM)Who they’re Looking for in the Field Service Engineer.They’ll consider any applicant who can show strong mechanical and / or electrical ability, along with the drive to learn and grow in the role. Ideally, you’ll bring :
  • Previous experience working on commercial laundry or catering equipment
  • Mechanical or electrical qualifications (Gas Safe desirable but not essential)
  • A problem-solving mindset and keen eye for diagnostics
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • A professional, friendly, and reliable attitude
  • Confidence to work independently and manage time effectively
