Job summary

Applications are invited for an experienced Orthoptist to join a friendly and dynamic department. The service is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly clinician to join our busy team of 11 orthoptists.

The service is looking for an applicant with previous clinical experience however new graduates are also encouraged to apply.

The department is accredited by the HCPC to receive undergraduate orthoptic students on clinical placement.

The post offers the opportunity to work within specialised paediatric and adult ocular motility clinics, as well as undertaking general orthoptic work.

Applicants must hold a degree or diploma in Orthoptics and be registered with the HCPC. We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible team member with excellent communication skills. A current driving license and access to a car would be beneficial.
