Role : SEN Teacher

Location : Bridgewater

Contract : Full time, permanent

Salary : Teacher Pay Scale

Are you a creative, resilient, and passionate teacher looking to make a real impact? Our client, a specialist school in Bridgewater, is seeking enthusiastic SEN Teachers to join their dedicated team. This school provides a supportive and inclusive environment for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism, ADHD, and PDA. We have multiple roles available across various cohorts (Primary and Secondary).

Key responsibilities :

  • Deliver engaging, tailored lessons that support both academic and emotional development.
  • Foster a safe and positive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued.
  • Work closely with support staff and therapists to implement personalised learning plans.
  • Encourage students' independence, confidence, and resilience through innovative teaching methods.
  • Participate in outdoor learning activities, enrichment programs, and holistic educational approaches.

Requirements :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience or strong interest in working with students with SEMH and SEN needs.
  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

    Working with Long-term Teachers :
