About the Role
My client, an award-winning Multidisciplinary Consultancy Group, is seeking a motivated Graduate Building Surveyor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to develop their career in building surveying while working towards RICS chartership. You will gain hands-on experience across a variety of residential, commercial, and public sector projects, working closely with senior surveyors and project managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting condition surveys, defect analysis, and measured surveys.
- Support in preparing specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation.
- Assist with contract administration and project management on refurbishment and maintenance projects.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress.
- Work on planning and building regulation applications.
- Support clients with party wall matters, dilapidations, and insurance reinstatement valuations.
- Attend client meetings and liaise with contractors and consultants.
- Maintain detailed project records and reports.
- Work towards achieving RICS chartership, with full APC support.
Requirements
Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited).Keen to develop skills in surveying, contract administration, and project management.Strong communication and report-writing skills.Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced consultancy environment.Full UK driving licence (desirable).What We Offer
