They are seeking a Business Analyst / Architect to bridge business needs with technology solutions. As part of the Strategy & Architecture (S&A) Team, you'll evaluate new technology initiatives-particularly around productivity and AI-ensuring clear requirements and supporting innovation. Reporting to the Group Lead Enterprise Architect, this hybrid role combines remote and office-based work. Purpose of the Role : Develop and manage an internal consulting process to assess business and IT tech requests, focusing on productivity and AI. Embed technology governance by supporting S&A-led boards, developing High-Level Architecture Impact Assessments, and contributing to business cases. Maintain the Enterprise Architecture Repository, update Power BI configurations, address business queries, and support target architecture and roadmap development. Ideal Candidate Profile : You'll bring strong experience in consulting, data applications, and digital transformation, having led end-to-end design and implementation of business capabilities. You'll work with architects, tech teams, suppliers, procurement, legal, and finance. We're looking for a proactive individual who thrives in a complex environment and promotes collaboration. Key Responsibilities : IT Governance & Request Management : Manage and prioritise IT business requests with architecture and business teams. Ensure governance compliance and drive framework improvements. Track requests and report progress to stakeholders. Prepare reports, dashboards, and leadership presentations. AI Strategy & Adoption : Define and support the AI adoption strategy, including training, use-case assessments, and trend analysis. Evaluate emerging AI tools, perform hands-on testing, and recommend solutions. Research and share insights on AI developments. Maintain AI evaluation frameworks. Power BI Development : Design and maintain Power BI dashboards for organisational decision-making. Gather requirements, validate data, and ensure meaningful outputs. Improve performance and user experience of existing reports. Innovation & Learning : Stay current with Microsoft technologies (Power Platform, Azure). Lead or contribute to proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies. Promote test-and-learn culture, sharing insights and best practices. Collaboration & Communication : Align AI and analytics initiatives with business goals. Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Deliver presentations, training, and documentation to support solution adoption. Technical Design Governance : Assist vendors in preparing solution designs for review. Participate in the Technical Design Authority and manage follow-up actions. Experience & Skills Required : Knowledge of IT Governance, Architecture, and Power BI. Experience with app development, POCs, and AI technologies. Strong in workshops, data analysis, process definition, and conflict resolution. Able to interpret and connect disparate technical documents. Broad understanding of business processes, enabling tech, and governance. Effective stakeholder engagement and communication at senior levels. Curious, adaptable, and proactive, with a strong learning mindset. Comfortable in dynamic environments with strong situational awareness.
