Company Description

Location : Thornliebank

Pay Rate :  £12.00 per hour

Shifts available :   The shift pattern covers 6 days a week as follows :

  • Mon : 8am-10am, 12-2pm & 5pm-10pm.
  • Tues : 8.30am -10.30am & 12-3pm
  • Wed : 8.30am – 10.30am & 5pm-10pm
  • Fri : 8am-1pm & 5pm-10pm
  • Sat : 8.30am -10.30am, 12-1pm, 5pm-10pm
  • Sun : 8.30am-10.30am & 12.30 – 1.30pm

Applicants must be able to commit to 3 full shifts per week, inclusive of 2 evening shifts.

Access to vehicle required : A driving licence is essential, will be driving client’s own car.

Experience required :   Experience with Acquired Brain Injury is essential

    What you’ll do

    Our Support Workers are extraordinary people who help our clients to remain living in their own homes and more importantly, make them smile every day. You’ll support the client with living independently and achieving their goals in life, as well as outings with the client, personal care (bathing, showering, toileting, etc.), help with their medication, and practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework.

    Qualifications

    What you’ll need

    You’ll need to be caring and compassionate, and a good listener. Previous experience as a Support Worker with Acquired Brain Injuries is essential. A current member of the PVG scheme and registered with SSSC, or be prepared to register, is also required.
