Hays are recruiting a Corporate Services Manager for their client, a large regional accountancy firm.
Within this role you will be responsible for undertaking high quality audit, accounts preparation and taxpliance services for a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from small to large clients operating within the local area. Your role will include regular visits to client’s premises, working remotely and understanding how the business operates and the individual challenges that they face. You must befortable speaking to clients about their financial and business procedures.
As a part of your role you will bemitted to mentoring the team and encouraging others to develop. You will ensure working papers and files areplete and ready for associate and partner review and will take pride and responsibility for your work.
You will be joining a very successful chartered accountancy firm with a close-knit and friendly team who work together and with their clients to ensure that their specific needs are met. They have excellent long-standing relationships with many clients and your role would not just be Audit you would also be involved in special assignments such as group reorganisations, consolidations and management accounts. It is a varied and exciting team to be a part of where no two days are the same.
Audit experience is essential. You will be responsible for managing audit, accounts preparation and taxpliance services for a range of businesses, approximately 60 : 40 audit and non-audit work. You will have experience managing corporate work with turnover levels £5-25m and upwards and befortable with all stages of the audit process. You will also have experience in managing, mentoring and coaching junior members of staff.
