As a Facilities Manager, you will manage compliance and maintenance of all hard services infrastructure as well as working with the wider business and external contractors for both planned ad reactive maintenance of the portfolio and capital investment projects.

Key Responsibilities :
Full responsibility for the delivery of the maintenance programme for our property portfolioIdentify, assess and manage risks on all property related tasks to ensure success of the projectProvide effective leadership to the facilities team by assigning duties and responsibilities and monitoring progressLead the delivery and continuous improvement of planned and reactive maintenanceManage compliance and asset management across electrical, mechanical and building fabric to current Legislative, Regulatory, Statutory and Department of Health requirementsManage all third-party contractors and all aspects of compliance and Health & SafetyManage the investment programme and budget monitoring expenditures and costs against delivered benefitsManagement and delivery of the maintenance programme associated with existing portfolio, refurbishment and construction projectsKey Competencies :
Excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft office applicationsProven ability to lead and develop a teamExceptional customer service skills to both internal and external stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to develop and translate strategy into practical action plansQualifications and Attributes
Essential qualifications and experience :
Experience in Portfolio Management and Project Management with working knowledge of appropriate contractual obligationsExperience of full scale building refurbishment and moves management with both occupied and non-occupied statusExperience and / or knowledge of budgeting processProject Management experience including writing business cases and the development and execution of the projectEffective working knowledge of methods for financial management of costs and benefitsDesirable qualifications and experience :
Educated to degree level in a related discipline (Property, Construction, M&E Engineering)Appropriate professional membershipExperience working in the UK utility industryManagement experience which includes interaction with senior leadershipExperience setting and managing customer expectations
