We are now recruiting for Skilled / Experienced Operatives to join our team.
Job Purpose : Responsible for boning butchering trimming and finishing red meat for sale and consumption in accordance with client specifications and Company SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform boning butchering trimming and finishing tasks at line speed
- Participate fully in Lean Manufacturing processes and embrace new methods of working
- Completing assigned tasks in a timely manner to meet daily targets
- Ensure product is of the highest standard reporting any issues to the Line supervisor immediately
- Be familiar with the daily production plan and work as part of the team to set up the line complete checks and ensuring materials are ready to use
- Perform all prestart hygiene and safety checks as instructed
- Maintaining good understanding and knowledge of customer specifications and yields
- Complying with quality specifications and understanding yield values
- Complying with Companys knife and health and safety rules including hygiene requirements
- Report all breakages damages or defaults of equipment immediately to Line Supervisor only using equipment when safe to do so
- Reporting any accidents or near misses assisting with investigations as instructed / necessary
- Minimising and reporting of waste appropriately
- Finishing products to the required specifications
- Maintaining and securely storing tools and equipment
- Actively participate in all required company training
- Any other duties as instructed by supervisors / management and within the competency of the post holder
Requirements
