Teaching Assistant

About the role :

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Kedleston team and shape our brand new provision in the heart of London.

As Teaching Assistant at Mapesbury School, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will work under the guidance of the class teacher to support teaching and learning in the classroom and provide general support in the management and organisation of the pupils. You will use behaviour management strategies effectively and in line with the school’s policy and procedures, which contribute to a purposeful learning environment and promote the inclusion of all pupils ensuring they have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop. All staff are responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.

About you :

Ideally, for this role, we are looking for applicants who have experience of working with children with Autism and associated needs and have a passion for supporting young people to learn and develop but more importantly, people who wants to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people. We would love to hear from you if you share our passion and commitment to developing confident and capable young people by meeting their educational, health and social care needs in structured, nurturing school and home provisions.
