Job description

Please note : this role is open to applicants who are in the early stages of their maintenance career or have just finished an apprenticeship.

Your new role

  • Salary from 25,000–35,000 flexible based on experience
  • Day shift pattern (7 : 30–4)
  • Opportunities for overtime
  • Mechanical Bias
  • 25 + 8 days holiday a year

Job Responsibilities :

  • Attend critical equipment breakdowns to diagnose faults and ensure production is resumed as soon as possible
  • Design and, where necessary, manufacture new tooling and equipment to support new processes and products.
  • Contribute to the planning and organisation of new production lines and processes into the business
  • Assist with production line moves
  • Supervise contractors on site.
  • Overlooking critical spares.

  • Understanding electrical maintenance is essential.
  • Manufacturing skills including welding and general fabrication are required,
